Angel Club (north) aim to make experimental, contemporary performance work across a range of disciplines. With an emphasis on the evocative and the sensual, their work spans theatre performance, visual arts and audio installation and public intervention.
Formed in 2003, the company received a Method Lab commission from the Green Room (Manchester) for their first work Angel Club (north) and was selected for the National Review of Live Art 2004 (Glasgow). Subsequent works including 360 degrees (and falling) in 2005 and I’ve never been to the moon in 2006. Their recent major theatre work 'Obstacles to Coming Home' is re-touring national venues in Autumn 08 and Spring 09. The company are currently in research and development for their new interdisciplinary project 'Beyond the Sea’.
Angel Club (north) are produced by 3-sixty creative productions and receive financial support from the Arts Council and the University of Central Lancashire. The company also collaborate with a range of North West based artists. (see links)
