These are the first images, the first day. The project will travel the coast of our region. It will begin in new Brighton. It will end Barrow-in-Furness. This is as much as we know.

Inspired by the people that live on our coastline and their changing relationship with the sea, part one of the project will take the shape of a series of interventions and actions instigated by (barely) chance meetings with (possible) strangers along the coastline of NW England . Looking for connections, moments, places and memories that link us, we intend to cast a new map across our (your) island coast.

For part two of the project Angel Club (north) will be collaborating with ‘Lanternhouse International’ and ‘360 creative producers’. Outcomes will include public arts installation, short film and a small scale touring performance work.

Part one of the project will take place over the summer 2008. The project is scheduled to conclude in summer2009.
